Air cone Wayne's MSR page calls this the head and lists it by firing range; the MSR-DC page calls the same part family the air cone. Match the number stamped on yours, or the firing range on the rating plate, and quote the spec number when ordering.

Air tube Standard air tubes by usable length (dim A, the distance from the front of the air tube retainer flange to the face of the air cone) and firing range. Wayne asks for the burner model, spec number, usable length and firing rate when ordering, so keep the spec number from the rating plate handy.

All 24 listed. In Wayne's table the first five digits follow the firing range (31844 is 0.75-1.00 GPH) and the suffix follows the usable length (-045 is 9 in): 31845-045 is a 9 in tube for 1.00-1.50 GPH.

Which part is it?

Match the symptom to its guide before you buy. Lights, runs a moment, then quits: furnace fires then shuts off (the flame-sensing side). Nothing happens at all, no motor, no hum: oil furnace not turning on. Quit after the tank ran dry: how to bleed an oil furnace after a run-out. The nozzle, filter, electrodes, and flame sensor are the wear parts on the annual tune-up checklist; the nozzle chart converts a nozzle's rated GPH and pump pressure to firing rate, and parts by symptom covers the parts common to every brand.
